Newsroom

We’ve all seen the emails. In fact, I bet you even received at least one today like I did. Someone offering up the 2018 PROCESS EXPO Attendee List. All the contact information. All the right job titles. Everything you need to reach out to them ahead of the show. Just let me know if you are interested.

Yeah.

Please don’t do that.

FPSA AND PROCESS EXPO DOES NOT SHARE ITS ATTENDEE LIST WITH ANYONE OR ANY ORGANIZATION AHEAD OF THE SHOW, LEAST OF WHICH A THIRD-PARTY ORGANIZATION THAT IS GOING TO SELL IT TO OUR OWN CUSTOMERS.

As such, we have no idea what these companies are selling you and will not vouch for the quality of that product.

As a marketer, I understand the challenge of finding good quality contacts for our industry. I’ve bought good lists and I’ve bought bad. When I see these emails, I understand the temptation to purchase their list. You want to believe it is legit. But I guess once you’ve been burned, you don’t go back to that.

We currently work with someone that searches for contacts for us that I am very happy with. They are not considered a list broker, and I certainly can’t picture them sending out one of these emails. If you want more information on them, I’m happy to discuss.
