McLean, VA- The Food Processing Suppliers Association today announced that EXPO Magazine has ranked PROCESS EXPO #1 in their annual list of Top 25 Fast-Growth Shows, based on its strong growth in both attendance and exhibit space in the 2011 event.
"We are ecstatic about this recognition which is really a testament to the hard work and effort on the part of suppliers to the food industry," said Scott Scriven, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) and President of Weber, Inc. "For the 2011 PROCESS EXPO, exhibitors enthusiastically embraced the opportunity to recreate the show in ways that brought tremendous value to the industry such as moving to a biennial show cycle, drastically reducing registration fees and building an extensive educational program to supplement what attendees would see on the show floor. Obviously, the results speak for themselves."
"We are proud that PROCESS EXPO has been recognized in this fashion," explained FPSA President and CEO David Seckman."For our 2011 show, we more than doubled in size both in terms of exhibit space and attendees, thanks in large part to the commitment of a dedicated exhibitor base and the food processor community that clearly saw the value in our show. This built a solid foundation for an even stronger show in 2013, with exhibitors already having committed to over 150,000 net square feet of exhibits."
The next PROCESS EXPO is scheduled for October 14-17, 2013 in the North Hall of Chicago's McCormick Place. More information on PROCESS EXPO 2011 and on future events can be found at www.myprocessexpo.com.
